Lovely Roses for A Lovely Lady!
Beautiful Alanna, Forever in Dur Hearts~
Alanna Marie Reade: Her Life Story
Alanna Marie Reade, went to be in the arms of her loving Lord & Savior on December 11, 2014. Her loving, caring, and spiritual nature will be forever remembered. At a very early age, Alanna displayed a loving, and giving spirit who truly loved people. As a child she was always laughing and running about, overjoyed with finding ‘new playmates at the park’. She always saw life through the unjaded eyes-of-a-child. Alanna loved people, and people just adored and loved her back! She was the self-described ‘ Social Butterfly” flying through life, a colorful display of vintage clothing, including matching purse and shoes! I do believe, when God created Alanna, He wanted to show the world, His idea of “Pure Joy” in a child’s heart. Like her name “Alanna” she was a ‘sweet melody’ that sung to the hearts of ALL who came in contact with her. In a moment, YOU would become her ‘best friend’ and she truly loved All her ‘best friends.” She had a gentle, intense spirit that was full of ‘merry making’ and when she called or texted you, you knew she had something ‘fun’ to do just specifically with you! Alanna put a smile on everyone’s face, and you always felt happy and optimistic after a bit of her ‘pixie’ dust. She was God’s smile.
Yes, I do believe Our Heavenly Father reached up high in His Heaven and plucked the brightest, shiniest twinkly star on her birthday and sprinkled a bit of pixie dust, spun with pure golden joy, and gently pushed her down a ‘rainbow slide’ to His creation, Earth, and Alanna Marie was born! Rose Marie Reade and Sean Wayne Hannegan, proudly welcomed and announced their beautiful, baby daughter to their home in Huntington Beach, CA on November 19, 1981. She was blessed with her father’s green eyes, and olive skin, and mother’s blond hair and petite frame. Later, her step father Richard Kalman, would read to her science fiction stories, and ignite her passion and fascination for the ominous galaxies twinkling down on us.
Alanna’s academic career started at the age of four, when she was enrolled at Hawthorne Christian Schools, in Fountain Valley, where she attended kindergarten through the second grade, and then later Lake View in Huntington Beach up to sixth grade. At Mesa View Middle School, she was an honor student who played softball and sang in chorus. She was an intelligent and creative child who flourished in Jr. High and High School. She attended Huntington High School, where she was a star player on the swim team as well as a member of the Women’s Water Polo team. She was an honor’s student and received many awards and certificates. Then at the age of sixteen, she enrolled at Orange Coast College where she studied art, photography and music. Currently, she was attending Fullerton College to receive her AA degree in bookkeeping.
Alanna loved ‘creating things’ and her hobbies were as extensive as her imagination! One she enjoyed was English style horseback riding, and every Saturday, you would find her at the Huntington Beach Equestrian Center riding and helping others with horse grooming. Already the artist, in grade school, Alanna was writing poems and creating story books, with ‘magical worlds of unicorns & rainbow bright magic.” She also loved creating bead rings, and bracelets, and crocheting hats with matching scarfs to give to her friends and Mother. As a member of the Girl Scouts, she collected badges and proudly displayed them on her green shoulder sash.Click Link to Read More!
